I use the ClearSpeech speaker in my mobile operation. Same DSP, just adds an amplified speaker. It is a good addition for mobile but would not recommend it for base operation. The DSP seems to add its own noise.
I suspect you have other noise issues if you are distracted by noise on the K3 in routine operation. I don't find mine noisy. What is your setup; antenna, grounding, radio settings, etc?
