Hi Mark, I had my P3 mounted directly on top of my K3 for about a year with no problems. The K3 is tilted so to keep the P3 in place I laid some black shelf liner on top of the K3. I cut the liner to reveal the speaker and ventilation holes. I was able to push all of the buttons on the P3 without it moving around. I used shelf liner from Home Depot and it is non-adhesive and made in a waffle pattern with holes punched through.
The speaker was slightly muffled but I use headphones most of the time anyway. My QRZ page shows how it looked. I now have the P3 to the left of my K3 because I added the SVGA option and I put an LCD monitor on a swivel arm overhanging the K3. 73, Mike K2MK [email protected] wrote > I would like to purchase a P3 in the future to go with my K3. Any help would be much appreciated.
