Dean,
I never noticed before, but you are correct. The schematic does agree
with the board layout too, so the firmware is apparently moving the
relays to the set position to bypass the inductors.
What I can say is that it does work properly!

Hi all,
I have a question about the circuit of the KAT1. According to the
manual, page 12, if the circuit is put into either the ATU CLS or CLP
modes, all the relays are RESET to all L=0 and all C=0. No problem
here. Now if you go to the circuit schematic at the end of the manual,
you will see a note at the bottom left that saysa all relays are shown
in the reset position. Here is my problem and question; I agree that
the lower relays for the capacitors are all in the so-called RESET
postion as all caps are out of the circuit and therefore all caps are
set to C0. However, tracing out the 4 inductor relays shows that they
are ALL IN the circuit [all inductors (5uH total)connected in series] in
the shown RESET position. To me, being set to L=0 means that the relays
should be shorted out and the KAT1's path from P2 pins 2 and 10 should
be direct or straight through. I believe that those 4 inductors are
really shown in the IN position not the RESET position as declared on
the schematic. Am I correct or just don't understand?
Thanks,
Dean
