Does this K2 produce power in CW mode? I cannot tell from your post
whether you have an SSB audio problem or whether you have an RF transmit
problem - more information is required.
If you do have output in CW mode (or TEST), then the following questions
are relevant.
Do you have bias voltage (+5V) on pin 1 of the mic connector?
Did this MH2 microphone work with this particular K2 before? If you are
not certain, look at the plugging for the microphone configuration
header - for the Elecraft pinout, all connections should be straight
across the header and there should be a 5.6k resistor between pins 1 and
6 on the back of the mic jack.
