My thanks to Keith Trinity, WE6R at Elecraft support. On Sunday 11/25 I sent an email to Elecraft support describing a problem with the K3. I received the first response from Keith early Monday. After the next exchange of emails Monday afternoon, Keith had diagnosed the problem and put two MOSFETs in the mail. Failed part was Q4 on the LPA board. I only needed one MOSFET and have the other for a spare.
K3 is back in operation, good as new. Charge for this 'Out of Warranty' support? $0.00. Thanks again Elecraft.
