Howdy K3' people: I need help setting the parameters if my 8-pole 400hz filter.
Recently a friend explained the advantage of using a narrow filter on the mode JT9-1. He has a Flex5000. I have a K3. So I tried today to get a waterfall display with the 400hz filter and despite turning up soundcard and all, I could not. Yesterday I was able to fiddle with Width/shift and CUT/Lo/Hi and actually get s,ethg to get me down to 1khz. But I hadn't selected XFIL anything at that moment. I have 8-pole 2.8 , 4kHz , and FM filter .
