I finally got around to installing the K1 backlight and it works great. Took
about an hour.
I used one of those "bulb" solder suckers. Had to remove the solder from the
sucker after
every third ho;e but it worked great to clear the holes of solder and the
new backlight
just slid into place.
I used the "agc" to control it and that works great. Powers-up with
backlight off which
conserves battery but turns on with the AGC menu.
Another great upgrade for the K1.
