Good Afternoon,
I have to get this out now before I lose power. When I went to bed last night the forecast for today was light snow with little to no accumulation. The forecast I read this morning was very different. Four to seven inches of snow today may take down my antennas and power lines down where they are not buried. After I heard on the radio the snow was landing in Portland I knew I was in for more than I had planned for. Luckily (?) the snow is going to be followed by a lot of rain. The temperature will rarely be below freezing so this will create a big mess. Good thing I don't need to go anywhere for a few days.

All that being said I will try to run the nets tomorrow. If I have to run from battery power I will probably be at 25 or 50 watts instead of my usual 100 watts. Sorry for the break, I just went to check the battery bank. I switched to full charge rate so it will be ready for tomorrow if the power does not go out too soon. I should be on the air tomorrow as long as the snow filled branches do not strip my antenna loose.

Please join us tomorrow afternoon and evening.
