After many months of waiting, KAT500K #313 arrived this past Monday.
Due to work schedule and other commitments, it gestated on a table until
today. She was born at 1747Z today (shipping box opened) and started
crawling at 1934Z (assembly complete). By 2030Z she was walking and
running (all antennas tuned across the bands) and now she is happily
playing (it works beautifully).
The KAT500K is a thing of beauty just like all other Elecraft products.
It never ceases to amaze me how meticulous Elecraft is in the design and
production of their products. They don't seem to miss any detail,
however minor. My station is now complete (K3, P3, KPA500 & KAT500)
until the next accessory or new product. Cheers to the Elecraft team.
