Ran the kx3 in roundup, Wish list Other audio filter options rather than just twin peak filter Fix the wrong sideband selection on afsk a. ( alternate sideband selection doesn't work) Other tone selections, besides the current 1000 hz default. Per band power output settings like the k3. (Only mattered since I was using an amp) Mute the I/Q output when transmitting ( or reduce its level). Would clobber my poor sound card.
Made about 300 contacts on the kx3 in a so3r setup with 2 k3s. And yes this time there was more than enough close crowded signals that I could tell the k3 with 250 or 400 hz filter was better than the kx3 with its roofing filter. In the previous wae rtty contest folks were more spread out and I didn't see much difference. Mark.
