Thanks for the answer, Fred. Very surprising. I was only asking because the *main purpose* of the RBN seems to be the reporting of the SNR of your signal at a distant point... but if you are saying that there's no real way to compare and assess these numbers, then that renders the RBN far less useful than I thought! I'll take your advice and take the numbers with a large grain of salt.
