Hi Jim,
do you by chance also have the K144RFLK board installed? Then no offset is
needed as the reference lock takes care of (no) frequency offsets.

Subject: [Elecraft] [K3 - K144XV] frequency offset???
I just installed a K144XV in K3/100 s/n 2295, I entered the frequency
offsets for the two segments as printed on the module. The first time I
tried to listen to a 2m repeater in either segment, I found the frequency
to
be off. working with Ken, K3IU, we decided to zero out the offsets and
the
repeater frequency displayed on the rig allowed the repeater output to be
sharp and clear. Is this normal? Has anyone else encountered this
phenomenon?
Jim/N1NK
