I have just had a play with RTTY, not something that I do very often. I'm using the FSK-D mode with entry from a keyboard in the back of the P3 - works fine on PSK and CW. However, I have found that when I tap the SPOT button on the K3 it does not auto tune as it does in PSK-D for example. I do have CWT showing. What happens is that I get 'SPOT' appear on the K3's display and it just stays there with no effort to initiate auto tuning. In the monitor I hear a continuous tone which is the same frequency as the RTTY high tone. In other words its behaving as I suspect it would if CWT were not selected.
