Dick Is this the same one that New Egg had in the link? I wondered if it might be the radio because it's possible to get VG sound from small speakers anymore and I'm sure that Elecraft would not skimp a dollar or two on a good speaker. If so I will have a speaker ($13) for my iPad anyway 8>).

Distortion seems to be an electronic problem.
