Norm, Glue, yes, but SuperGlue on rubber does not work very well - the superglue hardens (becomes inflexible) and the rubber must still flex, so it will come off in time. I built a K2 recently and found the pads reluctant to stick too - so maybe Elecraft needs to monitor their pad vendor's process for a bit, or it may be that the problem is now solved but a few bad ones slipped through, and a few of us "unfortunates" got kits with bad adhesive. I finished a new K2 a week or two ago and I too had a problem with the little rubber spacers sticking. Can't remember it happening before.
