I have installed in the main Rx: 13.0, 2.8 KHz, and 400 Hz
filters. I chose to install a 2.8 KHz filter in the sub-Rx. The
13-KHz filter is for VHF-FM and I do not need diversity reception for
that. With the 2.8-KHz filter in both Rx I can do diversity on all
modes except FM/AM. I am not in a high-density ham population where
having a roofing filter for diversity CW is needed. The DSP filter
is adequate. I run VHF diversity reception using two LP-Pan so the
roofing filters are not even used as signal is diverted to the 1st IF
(in fact for MAP65 I select IFIL3 which is an empty slot to avoid
signal suck-out at 8.215 MHz).
Even for non-diversity operation a single SSB filter offers the most utility.
