For $13.99 with free shipping if works great battery powered with a USB charger (cable included) and the correct speaker cable self storing and plug-in to the KX3. When I ordered I thought well for this cheap if it not that great with my KX3 I will use with my iPad. It was delivered in one day surprise opened and charged it plugged it in wow much better sound than the KX3 speaker for sure. It is only about ½ wider on each side of the radio 8 ½ total x 1 ¾ tall x 1 ½ deep black in color. In the paperwork it says the battery fully charged will last a full 8 hrs continuous 8 hrs of play. I dont know about that but did use it 6 ½ hrs over the weekend in the SSB contest and still going strong. I found out this morning it can be charged while in use there is an on/off button for the speaker and a charge light for the charger red when charging off when finished. This will be a unit that can be taken anywhere and charged even with a cigar lighter plug USB adapter.
