When I was quite young my Father kept a small device in his shop. It was triangular in shape with three bulbs at each joint connected by large capacioter and (I suspect a resistor. When he would see me coming in the shop, he would connect it to 12 volts and it would light one bulb at a time in rotation. I thought it was pretty neat. With eight pins on that connector looking thing at the lower left of a K2, a fella should be able to make a very nifty rotating light indicator with the right RC constant selected.
