I bought an KPA 500 this fall and just started using it because my antenna was down from the hurricaine. I can't get the serial port to communicate with my computer. I bought two of the UISB to serial cables with the FTDI chipset, which I KNOW work because my Winkeyer uses one, and neither one could find my amp. I then bought a two port PCI serial card and a conventiional cable and could not connect using that setup, even though Windows XP says that all the ports are working properly.
Any suggestions are appreciated.
