Hi Mark, I use the Heil HM-12, and find that it works extremely well w/ the K3. It's insensitive to room noise, and the K3's TX EQ, TX Gate, and compression adjustments will enable you to optimize it for DX or "easy on the ears" rag chews -- or anything in between.
