Phil, You did not specify which desk mic.
I think you will have to make your own. The information on the KX3 mic connector is in the KX3 manual, and you can find pinout information and much more for many microphones from the list compiled by G4WPW at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/rg4wpw/date.html
