I have decoded successfully DRM signals using if-out of K3 connected to a softrock receiver and good sound card, so using I/Q output of KX3 will work exactly as my k3 setup. Important issue is software you are using, i used a combination of hdsdr +virtual audio cable + dreamDRM.
