My guess it you have not set the menu CONFIG: TX INH. You have
choices of how you want it to work. (see page 19 of the K3 manual).
I select HI=inh so that a 5v voltage will inhibit the K3
transmitter. Bringing pin-7 on the ACC jack to ground enables the
transmitter to output RF. One should use the fourth-stage of a
sequencer to control the inhibit ckt as I have indicated on my
website. Your DCW-2004 is capable of doing this with the proper connection.
Do not try to control anything with pin-7 if you plan to use
inhibit. Transverters and amps should be controlled from the
DCW-2004 (stage three), instead.
