Yes, and it sounds quite a bit better too. Had all sorts of fun this morning
on the local area 160 meter SSB gathering. Nobody wanted to believe I was
running QRP (everyone else in the 75 or so mile radius had their KW amps on and
swore they needed them to be heard. Always fun to blow away the "Life's too
short for QRP" mentality even though I have a K3/KPA500 and use it often.
Anytime I go on a trip, the KX3 and several easily deployed antennas go with
me. Antenna selection depends on where the wife and I stay and whether or not
I have access to trees or have to plant a vertical.

I do operate mainly CW, but now that the KX3 has a bit more punch, my wife
(W0JMS) will be able to operate it on 6 meters with lots better results and I
might just be able to work some SSB DX with it.

We're heading down to Plano, TX in a couple weeks to help Lisa with the
Elecraft booth at HamCom and I plan on being active from the hotel in the
evenings if I can get one of the antennas up. I'll have a PAR EndFedZ and a
"Loops-N-More" 21 foot non-resonant vertical along.
