Howard, Look on page 30 of your owners manual. The schematic for the cable is there. My ops manual is Rev D. I guess you could get a replacement from Elecraft. There is more cable connector (power) info on Page 7 of the manual.
Funny you should post that request. I just finished doing a K3 calibrate with the XG3, but I did find the DB9 to XG3 cable.
