I'm contemplating a K1 as my next QRP project. In thinking about the band combinations, if one goes for the full six bands on two boards, I wonder if it's possible to set the four-band board up for 80-40-20-15, rather than 40-30-20-15/17. This assumes one buys all the boards at the same time and has all the parts on hand. For casual contest purposes, that would yield four bands instead of three without having to open the case to swap boards. Can 80-meter parts live on the four-band board? Or are they restricted to the two-band board?
Yeah, I know...too much time on my hands! ;-) With best regards, Pete -- Peter N.
