Put the K3 in AFSK A mode and make sure MMTTY's mark tone matches the

bar higher than the speaker bar graph. My Vox setting on the rig is at
.40 and running 50 watts of power and my mic line is set to 7. To me
its almost like the vox setting is wrong, like when you have the
microphone on and set too lightly and make a noise and it keys the rig.
Any suggestions would be great.

Rich- Okay thanks for the info. I will try that out and see what
happens. It's a little weird, last night after I sent the email, on was
messing around with it on 20 meters and all was ok, but will do more
tuning in the day or so. Thanks again.
