In my case BT does not work reliably byond 10-15 meters. Still useful for
wireless CAT, PTT and CW connection to the radio if it works well.

Do you know what would be the range using a Lenovo notebook (the adaptor
should be OK for 100m according to the spec., but I don't know about the
