If you mean PSK31 and RTTY modes, that will do it. BTW, P3 Utility is not the firmware itself, but a means of downloading and installing firmware updates - it runs on the computer, and is not needed once that task is completed.

If you want other data modes, you will have to run the K3 in DATA A or AFSK A and use a soundcard oriented application on your computer.
