Two good packages are Hamlog and RUMlog. Both work with the iPad and KX3 if you have a piglet/pigail serial to wifi bridge. Both can be used with out rig control. RUMLog also can interchange files with the Mac version of the program via DropBox to make things easy. I like the UI better on RUMLog as a logging program and it has easier access to standard features. Hamlog has a nicer rig control screen.
