It uses an analogy that likens bandwidth to the focal length of a camera lens, or more specifically, to the resulting angular field of view for a given focal length. You may find that comparing the resulting images, is much more intuitive than comparing a table of numbers (i.e. minus 6 dB bandwidths), or comparing passband roll-off plots.
