Hi Stephen, I used my kx3 for jt65 once when I first got it to see how it would work. I can't recall what the ALC looked like tho. I bought a special signalink USB and the jumper board to store in my kx3 go case so i wouldn't have to disconnect all the cabling in the shack with the main signalink. As time permits today, I'll pull everything out and set it up and let u know how it looks on my end.
As far as the data A, I believe from what I read in the manual that it turns off all tx/RX equalization as well as compression. I also recall reading somewhere with the signalink USB, if the jumper board is not installed, the mic bias menu setting should be set to off. If u have the pre made jumper board installed mic bias can be left to on. Since u have yours connected to the computer, I'm not sure how that setting will affect operations. Sorry for all the typos and poor syntax. Writing all this while my 14-month-old is running circles around me getting into everything hihi.... 73, Steve KS6PD On Friday, July 19, 2013, Stephen M.
