Hi Brian, Check the K3 config menu KRC2. Tap the 1 key (I think) and see if the configuration is BAND6 or BAND10. There is some sort of band coding anomaly having to do with the KRC2 which defaults to the K3 putting out the band code for 10m when you are actually on 6m. That may have some effect that you are seeing if the KAT is seeing the 10m code and opening the keying line or something. Set it to BAND6 to get the correct band code for 6m. Cheers and 73,
