Both of my K2s were connected to the same computer and both suffered the same fate of loss of KIO2 communication. I am not sure of the exact cause or the exact time it happened.. Several of the USB ports are not working now and the computer has been taken off line.
I replaced a burned out choke and the MAX1406 IC of the KIO2 board and all is now well with my low power K2. I replaced the MAX1406 on the KPA100board, but the KIO2 circuit is still not functioning.. All the voltages check out except for the 5V required at pin 11 which measures 0V. I am not sure where to go from here and any thoughts or help would be appreciated..
