I won't speculate on the housing or engineering of it, but I would love to have a good pair of stereo speakers (I use split operation with the sub rx extensively) that would have good communications audio, allowing me to not have to use headphones all the time. I've tried different speakers with the K3, but nothing that I've tried really sounds good or works well.
