I replied to Jim off line. That washer is not used. I prepared an errata
today removing it.
The parts lists are created fairly early in the development phase of a
project. I write the kit assembly instructions much later. Usually both the
factory and I audit the parts list to ensure it matches the assembly
instructions. Even so, we occasionally make a mistake.
