Ron, I'm not sure if your posting was directed at me or not, but I didn't mentally move the decimal point :-) It was a fundamental limitation of the (good, I thought) DMM I was using. It just goes to show that you can't always believe what your measuring instrument is telling you, as I tell my students frequently!
