Now I am in real trouble!! This morning when I turned on my K3, in hopes of being able to perform some positive troubleshooting on my lost USB and LSB rcvr audio, I went to the 20m SSB band and lo and behold my USB rcvr audio is NOW WORKING!! I have done nothing to my K3 except for having gone over the menu configurations numerous times, so I don't know what caused the problem nor what fixed it. A worrisome result - but it's now working!
