Well, some days I'm dumber than others. It was the keyer, not fully seated or had a bit of crud shorting it or ???
Unplugged it and now all is well. Checked out the keyer and it seems fine. Plugged it back in.... still fine. I'm writing it off gremlins and/or leprechauns. So now my internal dilemma is whether to install the 30meter board, which I have, or go nearly another hundred bucks to add 80 meter.
