Mike, I've had the MFJ-4245MV supply for several years and think it is an OK PS. I detect no crud on any of the bands when powering my K3 with it. However, I normally use a solar / battery system and the '4245 doesn't get a lot of use any more. One thing that is annoying about it is that the fan runs at high speed all the time, right from power-on to drawing full current for several minutes. That's my only complaint about it. There was an article somewhere on the 'net about a mod to one of the other MFJ supplies to make the fan operate like the K3, based on heat. But, I'm pretty sure it was NOT for this '4245 model.
