I, too, saw the K3/0 Mini at Dayton and have been tracking it. At Dayton they said fall 2013 availability. I called Elecraft the other day and spoke with Brandon who is the system engineer/developer. He said they might ship a few before Christmas, but real availability will be after the New Year. The unit still requires the external RemoteRig box, but there will be a simplification of the cable interface compared to the current K3/0 and the key will plug directly into the K3/0 rather than the RemoteRig box. There is a waiting list for purchase and you can get on it by calling the company. Can't wait to operate remote from my NYC apartment to my shack 100 miles upstate.
