The K2 current display just measures the current to the QRP part of the rig, not the KPA100.

I've completed my K2/100, and have noticed that when transmitting with higher power , the current reading on the display changes from .36 amps (recieving) to 1.36 or 1.5 amps. I read in the KPA 100 manual that the K2 draws 15 to 20 amps when transmitting at 100 watts. I see this much current on the meter of my power supply, but it's not reflected on the K2 display. Any ideas? Tom KI6NRD K2 # 7432
