Hello Brian: The probe is only an issue with the 100 watt amp installed.
The KSB2 manual calls for the probe to be reconnected in the first step of the Filter Alignment procedure. You need it for that. What's missing a note to remove the probe after the filter alignment is done if you have the 100 watt amp installed. That'll go in the pending change file.
