I checked the time on my kx3 last night. After 5 weeks it hasn't changed or maybe a few seconds. Did I get the bad one out of the batch!

My KX3 keeps perfect time since I did not buy the battery charger...no clock! Install it, chose a time source and forget it. I use tick.uso.navy.mil and pole it every minute (which is admittedly excessive). For JT65 poling probably every ten minutes or a couple times per hour would be adequate (time needs to be <1 second error; mine never exceeds 0.020 second error). > > 73, Ed - KL7UW > http://www.kl7uw.com > [email protected] > "Kits made by KL7UW" > ______________________________________________________________ > Elecraft mailing list > Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft > Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm > Post: mailto:[email protected] > > This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net > Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html > ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
