Select RX ANT. If you check either the schematics or block diagram, you will see that selecting RX ANT will route the RF line from the TR switch *out* the RX OUT jack at the same time the RX IN jack is selected. 73, ... Joe, W4TV On 12/5/2013 6:46 PM, Ken Widelitz wrote:
The manual indicates you can "patch in" a narrowband filter between the RX In/Out. When I did this with other radios, I had to remove the jumper between the RX In/Out and insert the narrowband filter. There is no jumper on the K3, so how does it know there is a filter there? The application is for a filter for the bottom of the 10 meter CW band so I can use the other radio high in the CW band or for SSB. 73, Ken, K6LA / VY2TT ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
