Can anyone comment on the QSK or rather, lack of QSK, re the amp AL 811(H)? What sort of delay are you running to hold the amp 'on' while in CW?
I'd been somewhat concerned about the frequent relay cycles on the amp between CW... delay as long as I can but therestill is some delay (amp relay drop off/on) between some words or slow sending/pondering while forming the train of thought. I saw some reference to mods on the amp... cannot remember details, but every link to the mod was dead... the site was gone, not seen in Way Back Machine...seemed a good mod from what I could discern from the references I saw, but the real data and info was unavailable. I thought about emailing the purported author via his QRZ mail address... as his web site was gone and no other site had a copy of the info. I recently became aware of some Ten Tec product that is a QSK amp relay box I think but do not know much about it re. if it could hold the amp between CW delays or not. 72 (sort of, since we are speaking of amps).
