Sorry for any confusion, but thanks for the replys (still very helpful
knowing the battery will last several years). What I was mainly
concerned with was how long the battery will operate in between
chargings. Once I get the radio in the spring, I plan on bringing it
with camping, where the only charging source I will have will be off the
car's charging system. So I am curious how long the battery generally
lasts before going dead.
