Mike, NJ2OM, asked about the EQP (Elecraft QSO Party) date for next
year. We'll post the date as soon as we've consulted the contest
calendars for next March.
Meanwhile, we're looking for someone with contest experience who would
like to help us coordinate EQP. We've had lots of help in the past,
much appreciated, but we'd like to open it up to other interested
parties as well.
In particular, we need to solicit feedback and determine whether to
make any rules changes. We'd like EQP to be inclusive, easy to enter,
and appealing to both newcomers and experienced contest operators. Any
changes should be in place by the end of December so contesting
software can be updated, if necessary.
Please don't send us any EQP comments just yet. I'd like to stay
focussed on Elecraft products, while our future EQP Coordinator has all
the fun ;)
