I apologize for perpetuating this off topic thread ... But just to clarify, ARRL holds the LOTW certificate for W1AW, so any uploading of their logs must be done by them. The centennial host stations simply cannot submit W1AW/# logs to LOTW.
I was one of the operators here in Utah last week. We were asked to send logs to our state coordinator after each shift. He then checked them out and sent them on to ARRL. The folks in Newington then digitally signed and uploaded the logs at a time they felt was appropriate. I suspect that things are being done in a similar way in the other states as well. I think it's unreasonable to expect logs to be uploaded less than a week after any QSO. I'd start checking LOTW for DE and NE confirmations a few days after they have finished and turned things over to the next two states. Sorry for the OT bandwidth .. But I just got QSL's from the /7 and /4 stations from the previous week. And last week I got confirmations from the /4 and /8 stations active the first week. So they appear to be about a week behind. Strange for an ARRL program that is pushing LotW participation and the delay is probably increasing the QRM by causing insurance contacts. But, I would not worry. I just hope they get the awards program going by year end. :-) 73, Bob, N7ZO -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Scotty Long Sent: Friday, January 17, 2014 7:54 PM To: Dennis Moore; elecraft Post Subject: Re: [Elecraft] OT - LoTW Verifications Don't be nervous they will be posted. I had the privilege of running W1AW/0 Nebraska CW as a guest op this past week great fun. I hope to get more op time next go around. 73/Scotty/NU0S/Nebraska Sent from my Verizon Wireless 4G LTE DROID Dennis Moore <[email protected]> wrote: Still working on 80m WAS huh Jim?
