Hello Steve, The 470 ohm modification is a fairly easy work and elecraft gave very comprehensive work description. I have done it for a long time. I will order the one ohm modification kit together with the KX3 2 m module in future.

Is there any info on this new audio mod? Should I hold off on the 470 ohm resistors mod and wait for the new mod?
